Get Through College (GTC)

Uplifting Resilient Black Scholars to Succeed in College and Beyond

Get Through College (GTC) Program supports 100 Black San Francisco students in successfully transitioning into and completing 2 and 4 years of college with a focus on San Francisco City College, San Francisco State University and Historical Black Colleges.

We Are A Team

Let’s Achieve

The Vision

To cultivate a generation of Black scholars who will persevere through resilience, community support, and holistic development—ultimately achieving success in college and their professional careers.

How We Help

1. Culturally Responsive College Coaches

Our team consists of experienced professionals in the marketing industry. Our team members bring their knowledge and expertise to the table to ensure that every project we work on is a success.

2. Peer-to-Peer Support Through College Ambassadors

GTC pairs each scholar with a college ambassador who has faced similar challenges and successfully navigated them. This peer-to-peer support system creates a safe and understanding space for scholars to connect with someone who can offer practical advice and emotional support. Ambassadors help foster a sense of belonging, guiding students through the ups and downs of their college experience with shared experiences and empathy.
